Saturday, October 30th - An incredible lineup of musicians will perform at Music in the Park at Gordon-White Park. Among others, this lineup includes Kebbi Williams and Friends, Brenda Moorer, Julie Dexter, Zaccheus Paul, Russell Gunn’s Royal Krunk Orchestra, and more. An afterparty at Gallery 992 promises to be equally amazing.
Sunday, October 31st - Tyrone Jackson And The Essence Of will perform at the Red Light Cafe in Midtown. Jackson is one of the very best keyboardists in the Southeast and his band is top notch. The group will play a range of contemporary arrangements and jazz fusion styles. 7:30PM. 553-1 Amsterdam Ave NE, Atlanta.
Monday, November 1st - The TEN ATL jam session in East Atlanta is the place to be on Monday nights. The music goes from 9 until midnight and features a host of great jazz musicians in Atlanta. 495 Flat Shoals Ave SE, Atlanta
Tuesday, November 2nd - The Joe Gransden Big Band will perform at Roaring Social in Alpharetta. 35 Milton Ave. Alpharetta.
Wednesday, November 3rd - Bring your proof of vaccination and face mask, and head to Red Light Cafe for the weekly jam session led by the great trumpeter and educator Gordon Vernick. This is one of the best jazz jam sessions in town. You can hear many of the jazz voices of tomorrow in addition to established veterans. 9 to midnight. 553-1 Amsterdam Ave NE, Atlanta.
Thursday, November 4th - Stop by the Commerce Club in Downtown Atlanta to see me perform with the great keyboardist Emmanuel Chops Smith. We play every Thursday from 6-9PM. The music, food, drinks, and view are always on point.
Friday, November 5th - Vibraphonist Drew Tucker will perform at the Velvet Note in Alpharetta with a great band featuring drummer Terreon Gully, tubist Bill Muter, and pianist Greg Satterthwaite. 7:30 and 9:30PM. 4075 Old Milton Pkwy, Alpharetta.
