A number of shows scheduled for the last week of December and into January have been cancelled due to the Omicron Coronavirus variant that is spreading rapidly throughout the country.
Among the cancelled shows are two that I was really looking forward to: the New York-based pianist and accordionist Ben Rosenblum at Chat Hills Music and the relaunch of trumpeter and vocalist Joe Gransden's Jazz Jam at Venkman's.
I will try to keep up with any cancellations in the weekly listings posted on Atlanta Jazz Notes and will continue to hope that the numbers will change enough to prevent future cancellations.
